He was good at criticising when it was necessary and encouraging in the same way. Justin SHad my first surf lesson today in Dominical, Costa Rica, with Todo Sano Surf School, and it was amazing! My instructor, Alex, has been surfing since he was six and knows the ocean inside out. Before hitting the water, Alex broke down the basics: how to read the currents, stay safe, and work with the waves instead of against them. Then, we practiced the fundamentals on the sand—popping up, balancing, steering, and controlling speed. Once in the water, Alex stayed close, guiding me through every wave with solid advice and good vibes. I had a blast! 🌊 Alex is a great instructor, and I’ll definitely be back for an intermediate lesson. Highly recommend! 🤙
